Congregational Study Project - Cherished Memories Event
This event was organized by the Congregational Study Team working with the Rev. Marquita L. Hutchens in her first year of study for the Doctor of Ministry degree at Virginia Theological Seminary. The congregation was invited to write notes related to memories of Christ Church. These were posted in the Ministry Center under the name of the rector, assistant, deacon or interim serving at the time the memory occurred. Several parishioners also told their stories so that all could hear. Memories seemed to beget memories that day. It was an exciting event in which many shared remembrances of special moments and people that have impacted their lives. The notes were brief and some have been edited for easier reading.
